Lifetime cleaning of jewellery purchased from us
If you purchase an amber jewellery from us, you get free cleaning of the silver parts and re-polishing of the amber.
We can also re-polish amber jewellery not purchased from us (see the price list below). We polish only natural unmodified amber. With modified or reconstructed amber, the lost lustre can not be restored.
Restringing bracelets and necklaces
Time to time the cord or string of your bracelet or necklace needs to be changed. For jewellery purchased from us, we offer a change of the cord free of charge.
Price list of services
- Changing the elastic cord in a single-row bracelet: 150 Kč
- Changing the nylon cord of a necklace (40 cm): 250 Kč
- Re-polishing the amber: 150 Kč
- Cleaning the silver part of amber jewellery: 150 Kč
Custom-made amber jewellery
Take advantage of our experience in crafting amber and have a unique piece of jewellery.
What is the Procedure of Customizing Amber Jewellery
1. Design
First, we will discuss your vision for the amber jewellery with you. We’ll ask whether you prefer it set in silver, strung on a cord, or combined with other stones in a necklace etc.
2. Price and Term of Production
Once we know what the jewellery should look like, we will prepare a quotation for you, including a proposal of the deadline by which we will complete the order. If we have suitable raw amber in stock, it usually takes 30 days to complete the order.
3. Going into Production
After agreeing on the quotation and the production time, we will issue a deposit invoice for 50 % of the estimated amount. Once the deposit invoice is paid, we will get to work. If you are interested, we can send you photos of the production process.
4. Completion of the Order
We will inform you about the completion of the order by e-mail. Once the jewellery has been approved, we will issue an invoice for the remaining amount. Once the invoice is paid, your unique piece of jewellery is ready to be shipped to your address or to be picked up in our shop in Prague.
💡 It Is Good to Know
- For custom-made pieces, it is good to keep in mind that rough amber has an irregular shape and often hides various inclusions, cracks or blemishes under its bark. For some special orders, it is therefore necessary to find a suitable stone to minimize the loss of material. Sometimes it requires time to get the right stones.
